...well, only if the boys count for bragging rights:

Oct, 1974
Mar, 1975
Jun, 1975
Sep, 1975

I have to admit, after those four DEAD shows, I saw Starship in Dec, 1975; I am unsure if they did the WORST song of all time...but I was there.

Dead shows:
Sept. 1967
Oct. 1967 (2)
Nov. 1967
Feb, 1969
I know there are a couple of other old guys around here with older shows.

V nice; actually, though, my point wasn't that they were longer ago, it was that they are the only concerts I went to...ie, the DEAD were my first, second, etc...my fifth was someone else.

I was just bragging on my pathetic consistency...

Hey Tell, i guess that whole social distancing decree doesn't count here on the GD forum, you're everywhere ;-)

But Jeff. Starship was i think my 3rd concert, Mobile AL 1980 or 1981, can't recall without looking at my notes, but one of those two years. The first concert, pathetic in retrospect, but i assure you i had no idea who the artists were, although i had heard of them, i just went along with a group of older boys: Kenny Loggins with Firefall, 1979, Norfolk VA. 2nd concert was def. more respectable: Maynard Ferguson.

Hey Arb. I mentioned the Scorpions as my first concert but come to think of it I’m pretty sure I saw MF when I was a youngster so I amend my answer. He was amazing.

W Tell is taking a break to figure out how many more years he has to work now.

Don't even joke about it; I am going to half time if it kills me...er, if it's the last thing I do...er, "we'll see sez Mrs Tell."

Hang in there BD! Maybe I swing by for some humidity if I get furloughed for good...

I'm just not convinced we've seen the worst yet. Today was a lot of short covering but we will test these lows again and you cant rule out the worst case which I don't want to even think about...Thomas Friedman wrote a great article on this in Sunday's NYT- find it if you haven't read it.

I love your first 5 shows! What a sweet spot to see the band live. These '76 shows just released is a real snoozer for me.

It's always good to see you, Arb...I daresay a comfort in these times.

Hope you are well; we continue to count on our 120 F to finally do us some good around here...SDH's planning to fill the moat w paper money once the oil evaporates since we figure our economy might look like Germany, 1920s any day now.

I kid, I kid!!

Thanks Tell, always cheered to read and see your words!

Things here, Czechia, are not so bad, and the gov't put restrictions in place early on, closed schools, then eventually all but essential businesses; so yeah, i'm cooped up here in my flat working online, but it ain't no holiday that's for sure, i can't wait for life to return to normalcy, or at least my version of normal.

And at least i don't have to worry about spiralling into debt due to medical bills; the US has its priorities ass backward.
